Children as combatants. Infantile omnipotence strikes at the heart of the children

Hamastan May 2021 101

By Alan Simons

TORONTO. April 20-21, 2024. – It’s a known fact, that if you want to take control of the minds and souls of a country, you start with the children. In this, Hamas excels, and they’re probably better at it than Hezbollah, Al-Qaida, Hayat al-Tahrir al-Sham, Hizb ut-Tahrir and Fatah, and all the other psychopaths living in the region combined.

As William Hazlitt, the English writer said: “Those who are at war with others are not at peace with themselves.”

In keeping with its objective of subjecting its children to the appetite of the most systematic and obnoxious hate and antisemitic diatribe, the region has a long turbid tradition of brainwashing the minds of its young people. For example:

Listen to the children

Take for instance one of the most alarming children’s programmes emanating ten years ago out of Hamas’ Al-Aqsa TV on May 2, 2014. The theme follows a long line of similar Al-Aqsa TV children’s videos dating back years. Today the message hasn’t changed. That was ten years ago. Where are these children today, in 2024?

Hamas to kids - Shoot all the Jews

The theme continues.

Hamas PMW August 2015

To Hamas’ children, schooled by terrorist doctrine, the message is quite clear. “Shoot all the Jews!”

Shoot all the Jews has a nice ring to it.  Shoot all the Jews also strikes a euphoric chord with the adult masses. For devoid of reality, it appeals to many of the region’s adults, who through their earlier years of exposure to child abuse and indoctrination, prefer to ‘return’ to their childhood era where magical thinking reigned supreme.

Two murderers who killed four are “the role models for the children,” says Fatah official

And five years ago, on March 18, 2019, it was Fatah Revolutionary Council member Muhammad Al-Laham on PA TV News who said, Two murderers who killed four [Israelis] are ‘the role models for the children’”

The two murderers were:

Ashraf Walid Suleiman Na’alwa – 23-year-old Palestinian terrorist who shot and murdered 2 of his Israeli coworkers – Kim Levengrond-Yehezkel, a 28-year-old mother of an 18-month-old infant, and Ziv Hajbi, a 35-year-old father of three – in a factory in the Barkan Industrial Zone near Ariel on October 7, 2018. Na’alwa fled the scene but was located on December 13, 2018, in Nablus and shot and killed in a shootout. Israel partially demolished Na’alwa’s house as a deterrent measure on December 17, 2018. The Izz A-Din Al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas’ military wing) claimed responsibility for the attack. Until this attack, the Barkan Industrial Zone had been an example of coexistence with Israelis and Palestinians working together.

Omar Abu Laila – 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist who stabbed and murdered Israeli soldier Gal Keidan, and shot and murdered Rabbi Achiad Ettinger, a father of 12, at Ariel Junction on March 17, 2019. Abu Laila was killed on March 19, 2019, during an exchange of gunfire with Israeli soldiers who attempted to arrest him.

“Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose | The more things change, the more they stay the same.”

SEVENTY YEARS LATER - "Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose" | "The more things change, the more they stay the same"

In this part of the Middle East, the obsessive devotion to shooting Jews as a primary component of a religious war starts at an early age and is as much a part of the child’s growth as learning to count, all to the benefit of Iran’s theocratic government.

That’s the way I see it!♦
