“I’m still your Dad.”

From the Publisher

TORONTO. December 22/21 – I’m reminded of what the actor Hugh Jackman once said: “When I come home, my daughter will run to the door and give me a big hug, and everything that’s happened that day just melts away.”

In many traditional family units, the meaningful roles mothers play in the lives of children have quite often led to our fathers taking a secondary role in parenting us, especially in dark times. COVID-19 is probably one of those times where, as adult children, we might wonder what loving words of wisdom and support our Dad, if still alive, would have conveyed to us.

Perhaps the following poem below says it all.
